Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • Self check-in/check-out is available.
  • This homeowner uses one exterior security camera to monitor their home and ensure it remains safe. The camera is mounted under the main level deck facing the driveway.

Policies and Rules

  • CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Please note that fishing in the rivers is reserved exclusively for the homeowners.
  • This home is not pet friendly. No pets allowed.
  • No smoking inside the home or on the property.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • While the outdoor fire pit is a perfect spot to enjoy, the outdoor fireplace located on the deck is currently not available for guest use.

Fees and Payments

  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
  • Guests returning to Honey Bear Haven may receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is available on site.
  • The power outlet is a standard NEMA 14-50 receptacle, guests with electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids are welcome to make use of it and 'fill-up' for free.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All linens and towels are included in the home.
  • Well stocked kitchen with utensils, cooking basics, stove, oven, toaster, dishwasher, and high-speed internet provided.
  • Clothes washing machine and dryer provided.
  • There is a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.
  • While the outdoor fire pit is a perfect spot to enjoy, the outdoor fireplace located on the deck is currently not available for guest use.

  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided in the home.
